As part of this tour, we will visit a number of Armenian landmarks of historical and cultural importance. Saghmosavank is an Armenian apostolic monastic complex whose name is based on the Armenian word saghmos, which means “spiritual song”. It is located on the left side of the Kasakh River,, in an elevated, picturesque part. Then we will visit the monument of the Armenian alphabet, which was built in 2005 on the occasion of the 1600th anniversary of the creation of Armenian writing. Next, we will head toThe Odzun Monastery, which is an Armenian basilica constructed around the 5th–7th century in the Odzun village. At the end of the tour, we will visit the Lori Fortress, which is an impregnable medieval fortress and is included in the list of historical and cultural monuments of the Lori region.
