The village of Areni has a great resource of tourism, multifaceted historical and cultural monuments of high value. The territory of the settlement mainly lies in the widened part of the Arpa river valley. Viticulture and winemaking are one of the main directions of development of the community, due to which there are various wine factories. Then we will head to Noravank, which is one of the magnificent medieval monuments of Armenia and is distinguished by its natural picturesque environment. The city of Jermuk is surrounded by mountain ranges reaching heights of 2500-3000 meters, and in the southwest there is the beautiful Arpa gorge. Jermuk is surrounded by forests. Jermuk Waterfall is a natural hydrogeological monument. Falling from a height of about 68 meters, the waterfall creates three dome-shaped terraces, according to the number of collisions of water with lava.
